Roles, a 5'10' junior forward, has been an integral part of the Lady Panthers' success this season. Davenport, 27-5 overall, was a co-champion in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) with Cornerstone University, both 13-1. The No. 6 ranked Lady Panthers open play today (Wednesday) against Southwestern (Kansas), which brings in a 23-8 record.

Roles, an All-State and All-County selection in high school, has seen her playing time increase steadily from her freshman year. This season, she has played in 32 games and started 12. Roles is averaging 4.4 points and 4.2 rebounds a game and has totaled 14 blocks and 23 steals for the season. Interestingly, she has bloomed into a three-point threat, with a team-leading 45.9% (34 of 74) from beyond the arc. She also ranks No. 5 in the NAIA in assists-to-turnovers ratio.

A marketing major at Davenport, Stephani is the daughter of Robin and Willard Roles of Peck.
