Trailing 4-2 through four innings, CPS tied the game in the top of the fifth with a pair of runs. Sandusky regained the lead, 6-4, in the bottom of the inning before the Tigers tallied twice in the sixth and twice more in the seventh to pull out the win.

The Tigers were led at the plate by Chais Fleming and David Barylski with three singles each. Colin Dunlap added a hit and scored a pair of runs.

Fleming, a senior, was the winning pitcher, going the last three innings and striking out four.

For the Redskins, Brennan Armstrong went 3-for-4 at the plate, David Zambron had a double and two RBI, and Bernie Marx singled in a run. Zambron, a sophomore, started on the mound and took the loss despite allowing just two earned runs in six and a third innings.
