C-L won six of the eight flights and were second in the other two. Warren Fitzgerald was a distant second with 11 points, followed by Mt. Clemens with 10 and Warren Mott with five.

"There were some good matches," said Howard Lippenga, Cros-Lex coach. "It's always nice to win. It helps build the spirits up."

Lippenga was particularly impressed with his No. 2 Doubles team of Dan Butler and Derek Newton. The pair won their two matches with lopsided scores of 6-0, 6-2 and 6-0, 6-0.

"They played like they've never played before. It was unbelievable. They were on fire," lauded Lippenga.

In singles play C-L had firsts at No. 2 from Brandon Filbeck, No. 3 from Jacob Munger, and No. 4 from Jordan Dulzo. In doubles, also taking firsts were Nick Dupree and Noah Lazurka at No. 3 and Nick Fabbri and Shane DuRussell at No. 4. In only one of those six winning flights did Cros-Lex lose a set.
