Several Sanilac players in All-Star softball game

At least nine players from Sanilac County high school softball teams will be part of the action at the 2nd Annual Senior Blue Water All-Star Game next week. The game will move to Memorial Stadium in Port Huron this year and will take place on Tuesday, June 17, beginning at 7 p.m.

Among the players expected to participate on the two 16-members squads are: Jamie Clark and Amanda Oligney from Brown City; Jordan Alexander and Emily Kress from CPS; RaChelle Rich and Ashley Foster from Deckerville; Caitlin King and Kayla Roberts of Marlette; and, Sarah Long of Peck.

The teams will be coached by Howard Stuart from Richmond and Derek Arena of Port Huron Northern.
