Ricker/Johnson win top flight at WHGC Two-Man Inv.

SANDUSKY - The duo of Bill Ricker and Seth Johnson captured first place in the top flight at the annual Woodland Hills Golf Club Two-Man Invitational over the weekend. A total of 49 two-man teams competed in five flights in the two-day event. The first round was a best-ball format while the second 18 holes was a scramble.

Ricker, Marlette, and Johnson, Sandusky, fired a 68-63 for an 11 under score of 131 to edge out runners-up Dick Blank and Scott Blank in the Harold Beatty Flight.

Other flight winners were: Otto Wohlgemuth Flight - Dennis Rich/Scott Rich 135; George Jaeger Flight - Bill Miller/Ben Miller 141; Max Krueger Flight - Ron Wendling/Rob Wendling 144; Max Kruger Flight - Tim Wrathell/Matt Ganley 147.

The tandem of Duane Paehlig and Tom Albrecht were the winners in the first annual Right on The Money Shootout on Thursday night.
