Twenty children from the Sandusky and Peck areas shopped for Christmas gifts with police last week, courtesy of Wal-Mart. Officers from the Michigan State Police Sandusky Post, Sandusky Police Department, and Sanilac County Sheriff Department participated in the annual Shop With A Cop project at the Sandusky Wal-Mart. The store donated $50 per child for a total of $1000.
